The Evil Within is an adventure-survival game by Tango Gameworks. Game plots Detective Sebastian Castellanos and his members face an unexpected destructive force while investigating a crime scene. Player takes control of a protagonist, Sebastian who is a veteran police detective. Player takes the challenge of facing fearful scenes and creatures in the game. Player can perform amazing kills and combat attacks in the game while fighting with enemies. Player has access to many new weapons such as machine guns, SMGs, revolvers etc. The melee attack system has been added to game only and only for keeping distance from enemies but in some cases player can kill enemies with melee attacks. All new characters have been added to game. Enemies can only be destroyed by burning them or in other case they can revive themselves and attack the player again. There are limited supplies. So, player must use them effectively.Game can completely change because of player's actions and that makes the game more interesting. Mainly, game has a survival type gameplay and environment. So the game doesn't have any open world elements. The game features a bonus mode where player must kill waves of infected people in a given time. Best graphics and textures have been added to game with many more new features. An Agony Crossbow has also been added as means of weapons that can be unlocked by progressing in the game.
