Sherlock Holmes Crimes and Punishments is an adventure game by Forgwares. Game has been developed with Unreal Engine 3 that provides its users more realistic scenes and visuals. Game is part of "Adventures of Sherlock Holmes" game series. It was released on 30 September 2014. Game has been released for Playstation 4, Playstation 3, PC, Xbox 360 n One. Game is situated in the 19th's London where Sherlock Holmes, the supreme investigator tries to solve cases and get criminals behind the bars. In Crime and Punishment that resembles with the Russian Novel, player has the choice settle cases in one's own way. Game only provides single-player features. Most of the game is focused to examining crime scenes for clues and evidences. The new "Deduction Board" saves all these clues and objectives for future use. A tree of deductions must be filled in order to solve the case. As seen in the picture above, the green columns are the objectives that have been filled, while the blue columns are the objectives that needs to be completed. Player must find the right criminal in order to proceed in the game. This could only and only be possible when player has all the clues with himself. Each case has different ending that depends on how the player solves the case. The ending depends on the choice of player such as in some cases player will get a choice to catch two possible criminals where one of them is innocent, now if player chooses the wrong the person, the story of the game will change completely. As we all know, Sherlock Holmes is the best investigator of all time, he has some special guessing powers too. This could be handy when you just want to know about the past of the criminal you are meeting, which means player can guess whether the person is a criminal or not. This could also help the player to know whether the suspect is a happy or angry person, liar or honest etc. The new "Sherlock Vision" by Frogwares gives players the power to highlight the clues that are either missed or hidden. Players can look into or even through box cases and walls with this new feature. Graphics are upgraded and with high resolutions.
