The Vanishing Of Ethan Carter is an adventure game developed by The Astronauts. Game also includes a horror taste in the game. Game has been released on 26 September 2014. It has been released for PC and Playstation 4 exclusively. Game is actually an open world game where player can roam around in the map. Player will solve crimes and cases using his paranormal powers and strength. These powers includes talking to the souls of the victims, rewinding the crime scene, super vision for finding clues etc like in Murdered Soul. The main character of the game is a detective who tries to solve cases in the Red Creek Valley which is a fictional city. A young boy named Ethan Carter sends a letter to detective. The letter says that Ethan is in great danger. Detective must explore the dark secrets of the city to find out about Ethan. All the cases in the game are inter-connected to each other which means player must pay real attention to each case to solve them in given time. Game has different difficulty levels. It only includes a single player mode but developers are trying to make a multiplayer mode too for the gamers. Game has an objective based gameplay where player with his super powers must investigate scenes and choose places where he can find the best clues. The key point for the game is its graphics which have been developed to show each and every detail of the objects in the game.
