Zoo Tycoon 2 is a strategy-adventure game published by Microsoft and developed by Blue Fang Games. Game has the same game-play as its predecessor Zoo Tycoon 1 where player must create exhibits and aquariums and taking care of guests and all the animals. The main focus of the game is to become a zoo expert or simply a zoo tycoon. Game features a set of modes and each one has different objectives and challenges to complete. In the beginning of the game, player becomes owner of a zoo where he/she must add animals and take care of them to compete with the other zoos around. Money and food for animals is free except some of the items that player must unlock by completing other challenges. Player can also choose plots where he can build his/her own mega zoo. Plots are of different sizes such as small, medium, large. Player can buy food and other items or toys for the animals in the zoo. There are many options in the game to make the zoo one of the best for animals. Player can build rain forests, deserts, can grow trees, and build swimming pools for different animals. Player can also build picnic areas, stalls, shops, oil pumps, vehicle stands for the tourists so that more and more guests can come to the zoo. By this the zoo with become popular. Graphics are more advanced and reliable then the previous version of the game.
