"Blogging", a fun to do thing. Blogging is the only profession you can get the attention of people on internet and it provides such useful information or data that can not be seen or shared anywhere else. Blogging is simply sharing your ideas, creativity and opinion with others on internet by making a blog and posting your views which are called posts. There are many blogging platforms such as Joomla, Wordpress etc but the platform that is trending is Blogger. Blogger provides such an easy and reliable experience to bloggers which other platform users can't even imagine. Blogging is not easy but not so difficult. Once we figure out what our visitors or viewers like and follow, we can make a blog which can be on the top.

In this post, we will talk about the do's and dont's of blogging and we will take a close look on the factors that could make a blog look like a professional one and make it one of the best information providing channel from where everyone can get something useful. So lets start with the most basic things.

• Blog Name:

Whenever a person try to make a blog, he thinks that it should be different from everyone's blog out there and it should be something that no one could forget about and so on but they forget to notice the very meaning of Blogging, which is providing the viewers an easy way so that they can get their wished content. Well if we give our blog a name that is difficult to remember or if it is long to write, this could really really show up as an obstacle between us and success. Try to name your blog so simple that a 6 years old boy or girl could remember it. It makes your blog gross more and more visitors and it will become popular too. Lets have some examples i.e Google, isn't this name so much simple to remember and write. Blogging is all about making things simple for our visitors. At first, Google's owners should have thought that it is a crazy name for a website but as we all know Google is at the top of the internet. So choose the best and simple name for blog.

• Domain Name:

Domain name is actually a bridge between your visitors and your blog. Making it simple is like allowing your visitors to slip through the bridge towards your blog. Domain name is actually the URL that the user enters int the address bar. Make sure you make it simple and easy for your users so that they can not forget it till their last breath. There are many domain names such as .com, .net, .co.pk etc but the one i prefer is .com or .net. If you have a blog that is only about tricks or kind of writing stuff then you should choose the .com and if your blog is a gaming blog where users come and download something then you should go for .net domain name. Other domain names are also used widely but they are not preferred. Its good to have a domain when your visitors raise to 1000 per day because whenever we get a domain, the visitors along with pageviews drop to zero because all of our posts's url changes to the new domain name and they needed to be indexed once again from beginning in the search engine.

• Template:

Blog template is the design or theme of your blog. There are many free and for sale templates on internet that are customized by SEO experts. Choosing the best and convenient template makes your blog look more professional and it becomes first on Google search just by a good template. Template should be without errors and if Google bot finds an error in your template, they will not fix it or tell you to fix it but they will just drop your visitors so that people can not get to your blog. The best thing is to select some templates and implement each of them one by one and check on which template more visitors are attracted and implement that template forever. Once you got a template that suits your blog or website and gives you good visitors and pageviews, you got half success. Make sure you get a template that suits your blog or website or otherwise visitors will not come for the second time.

• Blog Posts:

Posts are the building bricks of a successful blog. One should really work on their posts and edit them according to the need of the visitors and the search engines. For more professional looking posts, add some screenshots in the posts that could attract the visitors and these screenshots will show up in the Google Image's search too which is good for your blog. Posts should be well organized, easy to understand and do not ever try to write such difficult words that your visitors could not understand. For example if someone is living in USA, he will use the words that will just go over the head of the visitors from other countries such as China, Pakistan, Turkey, India etc. So make sure you get it simple and easy to understand just like there is a quote in army "Make It Simple Stupid".

• Indexing Posts:

Indexing posts is now super easy. To index posts on Google just > Click Here. This is the link to the Google Webmaster where you can index your posts, detect and fix errors and similar stuff. Whenever you make a post click on the "Permalink" option is in the Post settings. This will create a permanent link for the post and weather if you edit the post, the url or link of the post will not be changed and then this post will not need to be indexed for the second or third time.

• Tracking Visitors:

Visitors should be tracked like a ninja tracking his/her target. There are hoards of blog visitors and pageviews tracking websites such as Histats, TrendCounter, VampireStat etc. These websites provide a complete ranking of your popular posts, visitors by OS, country, even the screen size of the visitors PC. By this, you can figure out which posts get popular quickly enough and then you can make some more posts like the popular one.

• Using Social Media:

Social media websites such as Facebook, Twitter, Scoop.it etc are best at catching the attention of visitors and viewers. Make accounts or pages or tweets on these websites and try to gross some visitors from these sites. One of the best is Scoop.it, which could be linked with other social media websites and the post that you share on scoop.it, scoop.it will share it to the social media sites that are linked automatically.
