Metal Gear Rising Revengeance is an action game by Konami. Game is the ninth installment in Metal Gear game series and sequel to its predecessor (Metal Gear 4). Player takes control of Raiden, a cyborg who is highly skilled in combat. Raiden has evolved from his white form into a more powerful form of black. In the previous games, raiden used to wear white suit, but in this game he has become more powerful and he is loaded with lots of new destructive weapons and combat skills. Player can customize appearance of raiden. Unlike its predecessors where player must complete missions without being noticed by enemies, this game focuses on destroying or killing the enemies. Player's primary weapon is the high edged sword which raiden used to use against enemies. Raiden can wield new weapons such as grenades, rocket launchers and much more from other enemies. Player can fight with enemies with many melee attacks. Player can cut everything in the game such as vehicles, walls and other objects. Game features a blade mode, in which after entering raiden can perform such slices with which enemy could be divided into two or more pieces. Game also features a bullet time where each kill is seen in a far more thrilling dramatic view. Raiden's energy is decreased when entering blade mode. Raiden can power up with the ripper mode which could help him further to enter the blade mode. Raiden can perform many combos even if his back is pointing to enemies. Player can also access stealth mode named ninja dash in which player could climb on certain areas and can perform some stealth moves too. Player can cut enemies into parts and can snatch their ammunition, weapons, fuel and much more.
