Pompeii is an action-adventure movie. Movie's story is based on the character of Milo (Kit Harington) whose mother gets murdered by Corvus when he was a boy. Milo is the only survivor in the Romans attack and he becomes a slave. A slave owner Graecus becomes interested in Milo as he trains in the gladiators class. Milo becomes famous with the name "The Celt" because of his remarkable talents. Milo travels to pompeii with other slaves and on their journey they witness a carriage being pulled by a horse which is falling. Milo saves Cassia (Emily Browning) and her servant (Jessica Lucas). Milo saves both of them and kills the horse to end its suffering. Cassia is the daughter of the city's ruler Severus (Jared Harris). Milo becomes a real gladiator and trains hard to become one of the best gladiators.
