Metal Gear Solid Peace Walker is an action-adventure game by Konami. Game is the sixth installment in the Metal Gear Solid game series. Game is set in 1974 in Costa Rica where the protagonist named Big Boss or well known as Snake returns. Snake runs a mercenary force that has no borders and they can fight on any land. There are two major modes in the game known as "Mission" and "Mother Base". The Mission mode has the real action storyline of the game in which player must complete a set of objectives to proceed in the game while in Mother Base mode, player can control a squad or crew. There are further two types of mission in the game which can be selected from the mission selector menu. One of them is "Main Ops" which has the missions that are primary story-based which means that the player is assigned some certain objectives and which could be completed to proceed in the game. The order mode is "Extra Ops" in which extra missions or side-missions. These missions are more specific. They have more advanced and difficult objectives to complete such as determining a file or taking stealth report etc. Player can choose between Snake or MSF soldier which is a female. Both genders has different set of missions and these will be only available to Snake or MSF soldier. Game also features a Multiplayer mode where more players can play in cooperative missions. Game has new graphics system with which each detail of the game becomes more and more clearer. New controls system has been added to game with new sound effects.
