Need For Speed Underground is a racing game by EA. Game is the sequel and the seventh instalment in the Need For Speed game series. Game features new races and cars. New races includes "circuit races", in which four opponents race with each other for 2 or more laps and the one on 1st rank at the end of the race is declared as winner, "lap knockout race", in which the player at the last rank of each lap is eliminated and the one at the first rank after the final lap is declared as winner, "sprint races", in which racers race for one lap which starts and ends on certain points, "drifting races", in which players must slide around the tight corners in order to earn points which could further result in winning the race, "drag races", in which player must shift the gear at the perfect time in order to gain more speed and also must look for the best shortcuts in the race in order to win it and alot more races has been added to game. Players can now customize their cars such as changing car body parts, upgrading engine and performance parts, applying new colors on the cars, applying vinyls and decals and much more. New color system has been added to game with which player can apply every color on the car with a unique texture. Game can also be played online with other players around the world. New cars including Supra, eclipse, punto, R8, civic, Skyline R34, Acura, 350Z and much more cars has been added to game from which player can choose the best one. Player starts the game with being in action and racing against the other racers in a fully high speed environment. Samantha who is the player's friend bring new races and contracts for player to complete. Player earn points, money and new upgrades each time a race is completed. Graphics and textures has been set to ultra level with which game becomes more and more real than ever. New road reflection texture has been added to game with which game's world's roads reflect the exact image of the surroundings.
